Ward 10 – Thank You

To my supporters who came out tonight. Thankyou. I do not feel defeated, I feel inspired. I came from nowhere, with only my ideals, and you supported me. Again, I thank you.

As I congratulate Mr. Maghnieh on a job well done. Ward 10 residents still have job to do; We must make sure, Mr. Maghnieh’s campaign promises are attempted if not accomplished. As residents of Ward 10, We deserve that much.

Sincerely, Richard Tarte

Richard Tarte – Thankyou

       A few months ago, I filed My nomination papers, wanting to represent the community in which I had lived all my life. At the time I felt residents were not receiving the respect they deserved from council. My family, began to canvass in August and we ended last night. I want to thank My 68 year old Mother, who desperately wanted to help my campaign. I want to thank My wife, who spent her summer away from teaching, by going door-to-door with me. I want to thank my two little ones, Michael & Molly for helping Daddy (as little legs can only walk so fast). And finally I want to thank my friends, neighbors, and supporters. I realized it would’ve been easy to see all my opponents signs, hear all their promises, to change your support for them. But, you saw my intention, integrity and passion, for our community. Thanks Again.

Today, I wish My opponents well, as their campaigns have taught me alot about myself and politics.

Today, change council, don’t vote for another 4 years of politics.

Vote for RICHARD TARTE, WARD 10

1 Day To Go!

I never realized how biased the media is in Windsor, as they only write of my opponents;

Gord Henderson, Windsor Star, writes;

 ”Maghnieh is up against, among others, a couple of high-profile candidates with deep community roots and strong union ties. He’s facing Jeff Gaudette, an Ambassador Bridge company employee and chief steward with the Teamsters Union, as well as Sanja Maric, co-ordinator of the CAW Local 200 Workers’ Adjustment Centre”

Ann Jarvis, Windsor Star, writes;

Jeff Gaudette works for the bridge; he’s out.

In Gord Henderson article I can only assume I’m one of the “others” running in Ward 10. Thanks Gord.

Even The Windsor square did some chopping at Maghniehs expense;

Take it from me, as the saying goes,  ”any press is good press”

Thank-you Windsor Star/Windsor Square.
